Caesar Cipher Translator (Decoder and Encoder)

caesar cipher wheel

Emperor Julius Caesar developed one of the simplest and most well-known forms of cryptography. To communicate with his generals in times of war, Caesar changed a certain letter of the alphabet for the one that came 3 times in front of him. The letter A was replaced by the letter D, B was replaced by E and so on.

In this sense, the cipher algorithm is the exchange of letters and the key is the number 3.

You can better understand how the caesar cipher works by using our digital caesar cipher wheel.
